Does my child need strong maths skills or previous abacus experience?
No. A first-time learner can begin with basic number understanding. If a child has learned abacus elsewhere, we check retained technique and current skills before recommending a suitable starting stage.
What will my child learn in the abacus course?
Our 12-stage curriculum covers abacus orientation, finger movement, number representation, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, controlled speed, visualisation and mental arithmetic. The actual entry point depends on assessment.
When will my child begin mental calculation without the physical abacus?
Mental calculation begins gradually after the child can use the physical abacus with suitable control and accuracy. We introduce simple visualisation first and increase complexity only when the underlying bead method remains stable.
How many abacus levels are there, and how long does the course take?
Our curriculum is organised into 12 progressive learning stages across Junior and Senior pathways. We do not promise one completion time for every child because placement, attendance, practice, revision needs and demonstrated skill affect the pace.
How often are abacus classes, and how long is each lesson?
We normally conduct two live classes each week. Junior lessons usually last 45–50 minutes, while Senior lessons usually last 55–60 minutes. Current days and times depend on the available level-matched batch.
How much abacus practice should a child do at home?
Beginners generally benefit from about 10–15 minutes of focused practice on several days each week. Our trainer may adjust the activity or time according to the child’s stage, accuracy and confidence.
Should parents choose online or classroom abacus classes?
Choose Live Online when consistent attendance from home and a suitable camera setup are practical. Choose Hyderabad Classroom when regular travel and face-to-face observation suit your child better. Both formats use the same curriculum and progress standards.
Are the online abacus classes live, and what equipment is needed?
Yes. Our online classes are live and trainer-led, not pre-recorded. A child needs the included physical abacus kit, assigned learning material, a clear desk, stable internet and a camera positioned so the trainer can see the hands and beads.
How many children are taught in each abacus batch?
Junior batches have up to six learners and Senior batches have up to eight. We also match learners by a suitable stage so our trainer can observe technique, correct errors and set relevant practice.
What are the abacus course fees, and what is included?
The course fee is ₹18,000 for Live Online learning and ₹20,000 for Hyderabad Classroom learning. A physical abacus kit is included in both options, and EMI is available subject to the payment terms explained before enrolment.
How do parents know whether their child is progressing?
We assess posture, finger technique, place value, method, accuracy, independence and consistency across lessons. Parents receive practical updates, and a child progresses after demonstrating stable skill—not only after attending classes or finishing a workbook.
Will abacus improve school maths, concentration or memory?
Abacus practice may support arithmetic fluency, attention to steps and confidence with numbers, but it does not replace the complete school maths curriculum. Outcomes vary, so we do not guarantee marks, concentration, memory or IQ improvements.
